Yesterday the harvest crew descended on the field around our house.
This is now my front yard.
Could be a whole lot worse. 🙂

Daddy's Tractor 
We always get excited when the corn gets combined and suddenly the horizon opens up again and we can see “forever” once again.
Oh, isn’t harvest sad and exciting all at the same time?! 😦 The beautiful, white field of cotton beside my house is gone! Boo hoo. However, I do have wheat growing from one angle, so at least I’ll see a little green this winter!
